Someone once said:
“You have to perform at a consistently higher level than others. That’s the mark of a true professional. Professionalism has nothing to do with getting paid for your services.”
I agree wholeheartedly with this and have made it my daily mission.
In August of 2008, I assumed the practice of my predecessor, Dr. W. Steven Ray and decided at that point to create one of the finest dental practices in the City of Charleston.
My ultimate goal is to offer high quality dental care in a clean, modern and comfortable setting while maintaining a neighborhood family dental practice.
Since my graduation from The Citadel in 1990 and The University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 1995, I have had the privilege practicing in a variety of settings, including my own practice in Massachusetts for eight years. During this time I learned that many things in my practice were similar to other dental offices, but a few things set us apart from the rest. Mainly, how we took such pride in our job and the facility where we spent our workday, and our goal to provide impeccable customer service. It is these qualities that I have brought with me to Charleston.
My practice in downtown Charleston has been one of the greatest challenges I have undertaken. In my quest for excellence, I have updated and renovated our facility and have made a commitment to use the finest dental materials, equipment and instruments money can buy.
I have also invested a tremendous amount of my time and personal expenses to further my education in order to stay on the cutting edge of my profession, and since I feel my staff is a direct reflection of my practice philosophies, I have assembled a group of quality people that share my vision and goals. There isn’t a day that passes where I don’t ask myself how I can improve myself and my practice.
I feel there is a lack of customer service in our world right now; most things are prepackaged, rushed and overpriced, and standards are at an all time low. Because of this, I want my little part of the world to be an example of what customer service and appreciation should encompass. I am not about “flash” and marketing but more about creating personal relationships and offering quality work.My promise to you is to always treat you with respect, always value your time, and always focus on you the minute you step foot in our practice. I will never let finances, prices, or insurance issues dictate what is the best dental treatment for you, and I will always do the finest job I can when working with you and on your teeth.
I truly look forward to serving your dental needs and becoming great friends.
Sincerely,
“Dr. Tim”
